Wushan Newhall navel oranges are native to the United States and are derived from Washington navel orange buds in Duarte, California. Introduced to China in 1978, due to its beautiful appearance, early maturity and good quality, it has gradually developed into one of the main domestic varieties. Because of its unique ecological environment, Wushan County produces plump and juicy Newhall fruit, which is deeply loved by domestic consumers. On May 20, 2020, it was selected into the first batch of national famous, special and excellent new agricultural products list in 2020.
